Day 1 & 2 of The Hunna Pop up store tour - Glasgow
Armed with a van full of sparkly new limited edition merch, an equally sparkly all new girl crew (except for the legend that is Alan of course!) and the kings of swag themselves. The Hunna Mobile headed up to Glasgow on Friday to kick off our ten day Pop up store tour the next day.
We’re always so excited to come to Scotland, the love for the band has always been amazing whenever they do a show here, so what better place to start!
The last time we were here we had spent a few hours at a vintage shop in Edinburgh where the boys had bought some kilts to wear on stage. It was quite the show that night, and so I was a little bit disappointed at the lack of bare Hunna leg this time around.
Rhiannon was our first pop up store customer, first in to get a polaroid with the band. I had a quick chat with her afterwards, she was so lovely and said she felt really special that she was first - ‘I’ve seen them twice this year already and seen them at festivals, they’re just really nice guys and I wanted to come and meet them again. I’m such a big big Hunna fan!’ We met so many awesome people over the last couple of days, one amazing girl, Beth Mackay travelled for 5 hours to get here to see the band! It really means a lot to everyone - we hope the journey home went quick!
The dance offs throughout the day made up for the lack of kilts (I suppose) and we were very excited to see how the new merch that myself and the band had designed had come out. Me being me packed terribly for this tour, I forgot what English weather is and that coats are a thing - so I’ll be wrapping up in the new hoody and sweat this week for sure.
Hunna Mania is real in Glasgow and we love it! Can’t wait to see what Newcastle brings tomorrow!
